As co-founder/co-director, involved in the project from april 2009 to february 2013.
Established with Teemu Räsänen and Inga Mustakallio in 2009. Arteles is an artist utopia and an open network of art professionals. The meeting point is in an old school building transformed into a mesmerising and organic art space. Nobel writer F.E. Sillanpää started his studies in the same facilities over 100 years ago. It is located at a specified artist-in-residency program the middle of the deep forest of Finland. Arteles aims to combine differents fields of creativity into interdisciplinary and functional equations. The operational focus centres on the international creative centre & residency activity, as well as creative productions & services. In Arteles the main principle is to provide freedom to create and reinvent. To give artists the courage to dream and to see things from new perspectives. These elements provide a base for the creative processes and a more colourful future scene.
