Series "Suomalaisia miehen nimiä" (1973) by Pekka Nevalainen. The series participated for the gender discourse at that time and it the screen print series is also kept up by the National Gallery of Finland . The names of the men has also another meaning (Aarre = Gift). The androgen models could easily be either men or women. It is also always interesting to see early works of artists who has had a significant career (Pekka Nevalainen has participated f.e. Documenta IX, Biennal of Sao Paolo...)

It was a great honour to work with and create a solo exhibition with Kari T. Leppänen. The artist is especially knows as a cartoonist for the famous The Phantom. For the show, we selected his 12 pieces of rare Space - themed works. The exhibition was held in a train wagon to symbolise the importance of travelling in the beginning of the 1900´s in other to create cities and towns in the middle of woods where the Veturimuseo (Railway museum) is located. The Space Travel theme was also linked to the the space travel project created by Richard Bronson, Virgin Galactic.
